What is small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL)?

Small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL) is a type of cancer in which the bone marrow makes too many lymphocytes (a type of white blood cell). Major types of white blood cells include B cells, T cells, and natural killer cells. SLL is a cancer of the B cells with high number of abnormal lymphocytes found in the lymph nodes.
