How does CLL affect the body?

Because chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is often a slow-growing cancer, you may not know you have CLL for years because you may have no symptoms. Over time, CLL causes too many abnormal B cells to crowd out healthy cells. As a result, you may feel tired, lose weight, or get sick more easily. CLL may also spread to your lymph nodes, liver, and spleen and cause these organs to enlarge.
